Two-pipe systems
All indoor units operate in the same mode—cooling or heating. Suitable for most standard buildings.
Planas multi-zone air conditioning
Multi-zone VRF systems allow one or more outdoor units to serve multiple indoor units in different rooms. Each user can set the temperature independently, while inverter compressors smoothly adjust their capacity to match the current load. This is a flexible, energy-efficient solution for offices, hotels, shopping centers, and residential complexes.

VRF is a multi-zone air-conditioning system with variable refrigerant flow. One or more outdoor units are connected to indoor units by copper pipes, while the control system regulates the amount of refrigerant supplied to each zone according to its current needs. Unlike conventional split systems, VRF can serve many rooms simultaneously. Inverter compressors allow the equipment to adjust smoothly to the load, maintaining a stable indoor climate while reducing electricity consumption.
Design and operating principle
The main components are outdoor units with inverter compressors, various types of indoor units, electronic expansion valves, and a control system. Refrigerant circulates through a closed loop: the compressor compresses it, then it flows to the indoor units, where heat is exchanged with the air, before returning to the outdoor unit. In three-pipe systems with heat recovery, the system can cool some zones and heat others at the same time.

VRF systems are suitable for buildings with many rooms and varying indoor climate requirements.

System options
Different types of multi-zone systems are available to suit your building and required operating modes.
All indoor units operate in the same mode—cooling or heating. Suitable for most standard buildings.
Allow some zones to be cooled while others are heated at the same time by redistributing heat.
A compact solution for smaller buildings with a limited number of indoor units.
A scalable configuration with multiple outdoor units for large buildings.
The system operates in a closed loop, automatically regulating refrigerant flow to each indoor unit.
The compressor in the outdoor unit increases the refrigerant pressure and temperature.
Refrigerant is directed to the indoor units in the required state.
Indoor units transfer heat to or remove heat from the room air.
Electronic valves precisely adjust refrigerant flow for each zone.
The refrigerant returns to the outdoor unit, and the cycle repeats.

Tailored selection

VRF systems combine comfort, flexibility, and energy efficiency for buildings of all sizes.
Inverter compressors smoothly adjust to the current load.
A different temperature can be maintained in each room.
The number of indoor units can be increased to meet the needs of the building.
Fewer outdoor units are needed compared with conventional split systems.
Indoor units operate at low noise levels.
The system can be connected to building management and monitoring systems.

Klimatrade project support
Klimatrade supplies climate-control equipment for commercial and industrial facilities through professional partners, design organizations, and installation companies.
Multi-zone air conditioning systems are suitable for offices, hotels, business centers, shopping centers, and administrative buildings. Klimatrade specialists design VRF systems and select a VRF system to meet your facility’s requirements, including room area, heat load, number of zones, operating mode, pipe run length, and control requirements. The project includes selecting an outdoor VRF unit, VRF indoor units, and the optimal connection layout. We supply multi-zone VRF systems for a range of applications: VRF for offices, hotels, business centers, shopping centers, and administrative buildings. We also offer VRF air conditioners for commercial facilities and VRF systems with heat pumps for cooling and heating spaces. If you’re planning to buy a VRF system, submit a request—we’ll calculate the requirements, select the equipment, and prepare a commercial proposal. The price of a VRF system depends on its capacity, the number of indoor units, piping configuration, controls, operating mode, and installation requirements. We supply VRF systems throughout Kazakhstan. VRF systems are available in Kazakhstan, including Almaty, Astana, and Shymkent. Submit a request, and Klimatrade specialists will help you find the right solution for your facility.
